This handheld infrared thermometer is an extremely nice tool to have around. This thermometer works by sensing the infra-red radiation coming from an object. It measures temperatures quickly and accurately without contacting the surface. Just point the thermometer at the surface you want to measure and pull the trigger. In about 1 second it will display the temperature. A laser pointer is built into the unit to assist in aiming.

This thermometer works especially well for safely and cleanly checking the temperature of ComposiMold, wax, chocolate, or other materials used for molding or casting.
